Making waves on the retail side of things is the Chinese purveyor of ultra-cheap goods: Temu. It’s following the Shein playbook (but with more product categories) for growth. The app was released stateside in September last year and still cracked the top 10 for most downloaded shopping apps.

What happens when Temu meets a skittish market?
